Winch, H-5000 Sealed (22LBS/BX)

Hank Beesley introduced a number of products to the poultry industry, but perhaps his most famous is the H5000 overhead winch. He saw the need for a winch that could handle the new longer houses of 500-600 ft . In 1985 he introduced a design that would revolutionize the way feed and nest lines were winched. Not only was the winch sealed to prolong life, it was light enough, at 23 lbs, for one man to install.

Beesley International held the patent on the design of this winch for 19 years. Hank established a 5 year warranty for the winch that remained exclusive to Beesley International for those 19 years. The warranty is included in the box along with all the necessary hardware to install it.

Our H5000 now comes with a strap adaptable hub. Strap kits are not recommended on lines that weigh in excess of 1/2 the capacity of the winch. Special consideration should be taken on installations that fill the drum as the load capacity of the winch is reduced as the drum fills. When using cable, Beesley recommends a 2:1 double back or breakdown for lines that exceed 1/2 the capacity of the winch.
